Hands on Experiences

Nkonzo Bush Academy
" In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous! "

Educate. Act. Empower.

This adventure focuses on ethical research, positive human-wildlife coexistence, and the protection of natural ecosystems. Based in the Western Cape of South Africa, you will be part of a program that protects wildlife and ecosystems as well as educates the global community on positive changes that can be made for the sustainability of free-roaming wildlife.

Here are 5 reasons why you should get into the Land Rover with us:

1. Best of both worlds
You will be staying in Mosselbay, a small seaside town with restaurants, beaches and cafes, facing the ocean.
You will be able to watch dolphins dancing in the waves and experience gentle giants, feeble antelope and lazy lions in the fynbos.

2. Be a rhino warrior
You will be supporting protection of these grey unicorns by monitoring them during your time on the reserve

3. Live the wild
Every day is a day in the wild, observing all wildlife, small and big.

4. Explore
On weekends, head off to adventures along the Gardenroute from horse back riding, to whale watching, to searching for the elusive Knysna forest elephant, to enjoying the vibrant life in Plettenbergbay or being a hippie for a day in Wilderness.

5. Do good
With your participation you are supporting this project and you are ensuring its continuity.

What is your adventure all about?
